THE AIRLIGHTER ADVANTAGE

Just 2¢ Fuel Per Fire.

Airlighter starts your fire with a short burst of the torch flame. Then its built-in blower takes over, helping one 300ml can of BISON butane fuel support as many as 600 fire starts.

Why Airlighter Costs Less to Run

The torch needs only a short burst of butane to ignite a fire. After that, the patented combination with a built-in blower supplies airflow rather than consuming additional butane. This additional air amplifies the lighting speed and reduces the need for more fuel. BISON estimates that one can of Airlighter fuel can support as many as 600 fire starts, depending on usage.

How We Calculate the Cost

The 14¢ estimate combines 12¢ per fire for the purchase of the Airlighter, spread across at least 500 lifetime fires, with approximately 2¢ in butane fuel per fire. This is an illustrative comparison, not a guarantee of individual costs. Actual costs depend on the purchase price, number of fires, fuel use, and local prices. Replacement battery costs are not included in this estimate.

The alternative method figures are from BISON's comparison and may vary by brand, package size, and retailer. Compare products using the same fire size and lighting conditions for the most meaningful results.

More Fires, Fewer Refills

Airlighter's refillable butane tank and replaceable batteries let you start multiple fires wherever you go, with no electrical outlet needed. A full tank provides up to 7 minutes of torch burn time, enough for roughly 30 fire starts. Fresh batteries can power the blower for approximately 45 minutes. The number of fire starts depends on how long the blower runs for each fire. You may get more or less starts depending on how long you use the torch and blower for each fire, as well as weather and atmospheric conditions.
