Airlighter® Fuel

Airlighters require butane fuel to power the jet flame.  Each can of fuel provides about 60 minutes of burn time.  Since you only need to use about 10-20 seconds of the jet flame when lighting charcoal, each canister can provide over 100 fire lightings.

This is a 1.5 fl oz can of chef grade butane fuel, which is used by professional chefs directly on food.

We highly recommend using Bison branded fuel only. Airlighter's performance and reliability is dependent on good quality butane and the right filling nozzle. We highly recommend using Bison branded fuel because the filling nozzle and fuel has been tested to work well. Low quality butane can create difficulty filling, possibly clog the internal jets and create a weak performing flame. The Airlighter will still work with other butane brands but we cannot guarantee the performance, reliability, or ease-of-filling of your Airlighter.
